Around 3:00 p.m. rush hour at the corner of Westmore-Meyers and St. Charles Road, Steve from Walgreens, drove a fast two-door sedan which made a left turn at the intersection of Westmore-Meyers and St. Charles Road against the green light and the right of way of the oncoming grey Toyota R5 SUV southbound on Westmore-Meyers crossing St. Charles Road. The two-car collision stopped traffic when the Toyota R5 SUV right side was side-swiped by the oncoming driver who failed to yield the right of way.
The intersection of Westmore-Meyers and St. Charles Road between Lombard and Villa Park is hazardous at rush hour due to fast drivers and unyielding vehicles failing to give the right of way to oncoming traffic.
